Junior League's Empower to Succeed Leadership Series: Women in the Workplace
Event open to WEN Alumnae only
Want to learn more about who you are and what your natural talents are? Join us on October 14 from 9am-12pm as we explore our strengths and emotional intelligence. We will begin by taking the Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment and Emotional Intelligence assessment to understand our personalities from the perspective of Positive Psychology. After we get the results, we will discuss elevating our personal strengths and creatively dealing with our emotions in the workplace.
WEN Alumnae are customer service representatives, human resource professionals, teachers, managers and small business owners just to name a few. Some continue their journey by following the path of higher education or specialized training.
We are proud of our alumnae and congratulate you on your success. Please help us build a strong network of support by updating your contact and employment information below.
A Fun Day at the KC Zoo!
WEN Alumnae and their families had a great day at the zoo on June 10th. Graduates were excited to receive Alumnae T-shirts with #WENSTRONG on the back. The weather was perfect and several alumnae walked the Zoo together. It was Zootastik Learning Fest to celebrate World Ocean's Day and there were many fun hands on craft activities in the lobby. It was a successful day and we look forward to our next Zoo outing!
Thank you to United Way for providing the tickets!

“I was grateful to find WEN after my divorce. WEN helped me gain the skills and confidence to improve my financial situation and even go back to school. WEN has been the best decision I ever made.”
“At WEN I met many wonderful women... some new to the job market like me, others dealing with layoffs or returning to work after raising their families. Whatever our circumstances, we all shared a positive commitment to making life better for ourselves and our families.”
