Executive Director, Sherry Turner, talks to Kansas City Business Journal about WEN's history and how Kansas City, and WEN, are at the forefront of the entrepreneurial scene.
"I think it's important for the pride of our community," she said. "If we're going to call ourselves an entrepreneurial community, we have to share our successes. The proof is in the success of the entrepreneurs, so we have to do a better job at profiling those successful people. We can't state as a community that we're America's most entrepreneurial city without the successes to back it up."
