Frequently Asked Questions

Do you validate parking?

Yes, for registration and attendance with training, as well as any workshops or résumé reviews, we will validate your parking. Please provide the parking pass you receive in the garage to our receptionist at the front desk.

Do you provide gas money so I can get to and from training?

Although we cannot provide money for gas, we will pay for your parking.

I’m on the bus — can I get to your program?

Yes, and we’ll provide you with bus passes so you can get to and from our training each day during the five weeks.

Do I have to register for the training in person?

Yes, we want to get to know you and have a face-to-face conversation before you decide to commit to our programming.

Can I register online for the training?

No, we want to get to know you in person, to ensure that you have a good understanding of what we have to offer you before you begin the program.

I’m already a graduate of WEN. Can I get help?

Yes, please contact our Director of Employment and Client Services, Tonia Bomar, at (816) 595-2396 to get reconnected.

I live south of downtown. Do you have any other locations? 

Unfortunately, we have only one location. WEN is located at 920 Main Street in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. We're across the street from CVS, and next door to the KC Library Central Branch. Contact Us for a map or directions to our offices.

What if I find a job during the time I’m in the program? 

Congratulations! We’re always happy to hear about successes, and hope that you’ll share your story to inspire others.

Can I attend WEN if I do not live in the KC area or the state?

As long as the requirements for our program’s attendance policy are met, we like to say "if you can get to WEN, you can be in the program".
